3 things we should remember
1-America did not start nor did it want this war
2-When the cat (terrorists and those harboring terrorism) decide to chase the mouse (Western ideals) it really is not
a wise decision for the mouse (France,Germany,Russia and others) to decide that this chase is not for
them
3-Diplomatic efforts were taken to the limit (remember pearl harbor, and Moltov Rebentrob,Chamberlin)
God be with the U.S. Forces and their allies.
May the flowers we sell be used to the welcome back parties we all shall have when the countries will lay down
their arms.

In A survey done towards the end of 2002 - Profile of usage of flowers-USA I have highlighted what seems to me to be
relevant.
-0.25% households buy flowers at least once a year. Of those that do buy more often the stastistics show, they buy 4.2
times a year.
-54% buys flower arrangements 27% buy ready made bouquets.14% buy and make their own arrangements.
-The American buyer buys, more than one type of flowers per purchase and spends $15.7 per purchase.
-The average spending per consumer is $1.23 per single flower $5.02 per bouquets and $28.40 per arrangement
-60% of the flowers are bought by 25-54 age bracket and only 8% by younger consumers.
-Females buy 2/3 of the flowers
-56% of the flowers are bought in flower shops but that amounts to only 28% of the flower purchasing. 23% of the
flowers are bought in supermarkets but they amount to 47% of the purchasing. That means that almost 50 % of the flowers are
bought in the supermarkets but the amount to only 1/4 of the purchasing power in the flower business. The purchase on
the internet was 6%
-The average American buys his flower 1-comfort 2-price 3-reputation. Quality of flowers does not seem to be an
important factor.
-75% of the flowers are gifts 14% self use and 11% special occasion.
of the 75% most are during holidays with valentine being 5% of the total purchase of flowers
