There are economic forces that affect the way we do business.
Its all about behavior.
Sometimes it is very clear and obvious to us, sometimes not.
When the economy is in slump we understand that certain people will alter their behavior and that affects us.
And vice-versa
The problem is that we must always to be ready for these kinds of mood swings, and that is not at all an easy task.
If things pick up and we are late to notice it
Someone else will take our business.
and when the prediction is gloomy we must be prepared.
These days for Farmers whose core business is in the Euro- hemisphere (Europe) it doesn't make sense to sell to the $
markets.
The euro is so much stronger than the $ that we lose money if we chose to do so.
That is why you don't see much euro based products in your market.
This is especially true for flowers. Our money making mechanisim does not make sense to sell outside the euro hemisphere.
But what comes around goes around....now it is just a question of time when the winds will change..
