We took part at the CFA Northeast Floral Expo, and we believe we made a good impression.
We handed out a sample of our new Desert Pea to many of the folks who visited our booth.
We had the greatest selection of flowers, the finerich Sunflower, our Trachelium white,blue,and purple, the echo Lisis,
Fox tail, statice and Limonium beltlard.

All in all it was a very well organized trade fair with lots of events going on

After a few weeks of hesitation if to come to the northeast floral expo trade show, I decided that the pros outweigh
the cons
THE CONS
-With the $ so weak compared to the euro it makes very little business sense to market our
product these days in the U.S. We make easier profits in the Euro zone.
-Many of the florists are very conservative and we deal with new trends
-Buying flowers online without "seeing the flowers" is also proving
to be very challenging for us
-MONEY. It seems the floral industry in the U.S. is a bit like a welfare state, with payment
being dragged for 45, 60 and even 90 days
My PROS
-what goes around comes around the DOLLAR will eventually strengthen, and we have to
find a way of doing business here. In the meantime we have to cut our costs such as transportation pooling.
-The FLORIST can't fight the SUPERMARKET'S mass market system. Flowers sold in the supermarket
may be very high quality but very general arrangements. The florist must be innovative and offer new flowers
and sell at a higher profit, and that is where we with our specialty flowers come in.
-ONLINE can not be strange to anyone anymore. so much of the flower orders are being picked
up online by 1-800.com, ftd,com and processed through the shops so if a consumer is willing to trust the online system
so should you. We have unbelievable logistics...and if something goes wrong you get your money back and we will ship
you a new order free of charge.
-This has got to stop for the benefit of the whole floral industry start ordering from us
start with small orders try us out
Our flower growers are specialty growers with not only new varieties in the classic flowers but a whole new array
of flowers that are relatively new.
