Every where I look I see that people are thinking how to improve, how to diversify, how to better
understand what your market wants, and on and on it goes.
There is no doubt that anyone that doesn't constantly improve, innovate, change and think forward
will eventually end up in the back..
BUT there has to be logic behind every move you make. There has to be a strategy even if it
straight-forward thinking. Don't just change because your environment around you is changing, do it because you see the added
value.
Weigh the pro's and con's, check the advantages against the disadvantages, be ready for the
economic, social and even private benefits and mishaps that will come with every change...
You see nothing runs smoothly... every change is time consuming and certainly will cost money and maybe other outputs
I always think of two very different situations whenever the winds of change come my way.
- A book I read a while ago "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Spencer
Johnson, MD, its a very cool book about changes, anybody who has not read its a must.
-a marathon race that I love to watch especially during the Olympic games, always
fascinating the strength and weakness of runners during the marathon and how the winner prevails.
In modern marketing courses
SWOT is the buzz word it stand for strength, weakness, opportunity and threats...I strongly suggest to follow
this path
