During the past week wholesale prices for Valentine's Day have soared.
It will be a while before we will have the statistics from all the relevant sources, in Europe and the U.S.
but just from looking at the price surge in the auctions in the last week it is obvious that many flower farms
are celebrating a very successfull Valentine Sales.
SMMOL has a surge of more than 30% average rise per stem- especially in the gypsophila, sunflower, trachelium, lisianthus
and desert pea.
Now lets hope that this will also mirror on the retail level.
Good luck to all our customers

As I have mentioned before we are now columnists in the Floraculture international monthly magazine.
We call it Touch- through the column we will express the things in our flower world that are important, or that are effecting
us.
This is very special for us, since it means that our experience, and knowledge is valuable to others.
Here is the beginning of our Column.

To find better cultivars, or maybe try a brand
new crop, we all do it.
The question is what is the best way
to do this.
